I’ve been subscribed for a while, but the price is starting to feel too high for what I’m actually getting. It just doesn’t feel worth it to me anymore, and if the cost keeps going up or the value doesn’t improve, I’ll probably cancel and look for something else.

I gave lightpdf a try because I had a few work files I needed to convert, and I was hoping it would be a quick fix. But the format support was sorta disappointing for what I needed.
A couple of my DOCX files came out looking messy, with tables shifted around and formatting changed even in places that seemed simple. I also had one PPT file that wouldn’t open at all after the conversion, which was really frustrating.
Maybe it’s fine if you’re only doing basic PDFs, but it didn’t handle my mix of file types very reliably. I ended up spending extra time fixing everything manually, so I can’t really give it more than 1 star.

I tried LightPDF to convert a few PDF files into Word, it did okay overall. Maybe I was expecting too much, but the simpler pages came through well, while some of the tables and spacing looked a little off.

For quick edits, I’d say it’s usable, I think. I still had to go back and fix parts of the layout afterward, so it wasn’t quite as accurate as I hoped. Not terrible by any means, just not perfect.

I ran into an issue and tried reaching out to support, but the replies took way too long. I was basically just waiting around without any real update, which got frustrating fast. The tool itself might be fine, but when you actually need help quickly, this wasn’t a great experience. Also, some of the pricing/charges felt a little unclear to me, so I couldn’t shake the feeling there might be extra fees tucked away somewhere...

I had a tough time getting used to it. Something about it just wasn’t very intuitive, and it took me longer than expected to figure out how to use it

I didn’t feel great about uploading my private files here. The privacy and security details were vague, and that made me nervous. I even tried looking for clearer answers and considered reaching out to get it escalated, but at that point I’d already lost confidence. I stopped using it because I didn’t want to take any chances with my documents.

I tried it on a scanned PDF, and the OCR got around half the words wrong. Even simple stuff came out weird, some lines were mixed together, and I ended up having to fix almost everything myself. About all it did was add extra work for me, so it wasn’t really worth it.

I had a frustrating time with LightPDF. My files would upload, then kinda just error out without really explaining what went wrong. A few times it froze halfway through and I had to start over from scratch. The error messages weren’t much help either, just vague failure notices. It might be okay for occasional use, but I wouldn’t rely on it if you need documents finished quickly.

I tried using the editing tools on my PDF, but they barely worked. I guess it’s nice that the app can open the file, but actually making changes was way more frustrating than it should’ve been.

The processing felt like it took forever... even with small files. I was hoping it’d be quicker, but it just dragged on way too much for my liking.
